Learn tips to help you secure financing to grow your business at this informative Women in Business luncheon. Kimberly Brisky, SomerCor, will discuss preparing for loan applications, managing cash flow, and understanding the lender?s decision-making process. She also will share an overview of financing options available to small business owners.
Kim Brisky is Managing Director of Communications & Engagement for SomerCor, a non-profit small business lender offering SBA 504 and SBA 7(a) Community Advantage loans. SomerCor develops long-term, collaborative relationships with financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders to finance SBA 504 loans on behalf of its small business clients. Kim has extensive experience in strategic communications, media relations, and external affairs. Prior to joining SomerCor, she was the Director of Communications at the Small Business Advocacy Council. She also worked for over ten years in Washington D.C. in the offices of U.S. Representatives Mark Kirk and Robert Dold.
